Sometimes I just miss these things, so Mitch brings the particularly funny ones home to read... hilarious.
"A male BYU student went to the restroom, leaving the library computer he was using logged on. Someone used the computer to send e-mails from his e-mail account, which stated information about the alleged student's sexual orientation. The student discovered this the next day when he began receiving e-mails from friends and family about the suspicious e-mail. No suspects have been found and no charges made."

the police beat is the gem of BYU
I always think of doing something like this when I see an unattended and logged on computer...glad to see someone actually did it.
People at my old job used to do it all the time. If you didn't lock your computer when you walked away, someone would go onto your outlook & send an email to one of the sales reps that said "wanna make out?"
ahhh I totally miss police beat! I forgot about it until I read this post..haha the things we love about BYU.
