Conference weekend and a little Shanghai transplant

This weekend is conference and every time it comes I am desperately needing answers to something or just feeling out of wack. This year it is the same and I’m particularly happy to slow down and think about more important things… perhaps one of the best things about going to BYU is realizing the importance of conference. It is amazing to see thousands of students spending 4 (or 6) hours on Saturday and Sunday to watch every session. When I was younger I always liked conference weekend because it meant I got to sleep in and only go to the stake center for one session—haa. I think when you start running your own life you realize how much help you really need and take it wherever you can get it!!

Also, Charlotte is coming in today from Shanghai and we are having a girls lunch to celebrate, which I’m particularly excited about. Having her live in Shanghai is terrible, I must say, but it makes reunions that much better!

I am so jealous! Eat some chocolate for me at the girls lunch :)

P.S. Why does Shanghai look like it hopped out of the Jetsons?
