Girls' Weekend

Last weekend we took a lovely little trip down to St. George for a girls' weekend and I have not had a minute to get the pictures and post until now, a week later. Let's face it, we could all use some pool time and schedule-free Saturdays (and seeing as Northern Utah had been quite too cold for that, we headed south).

Best parts of the trip were:
-Meeting Elder Holland and his wife at our pool (please know how awkward it is meeting an apostle in a bathing suit)
-Playing with Elder Holland's grandkids and showing them the "Martha Washington"
-Synchronized swimming and scissor kicks
-Indulging in magazines that normally elicit feelings of guilt upon purchase
-Courtyard Marriott's Guest of the Day
-The Miss Washington County Pageant
-Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt
-Cupcake bar at 25 Main

I have been waiting for these pictures!! So fun! I'm happy you guys had so much fun. Things I'm most jealous of: trashy magazines and E. Holland poolside.

You are my hero for meeting an apostle in your bathing suit!!!!!!!!! I've always been in church attire when I've met them, so I didn't feel self-conscious at all. You win!
