This weekend it rained nonstop; I was so happy! We had a great time watching conference and catching up with friends. It seems like there are always lots of people in town for conference weekend. On Friday night my friends and our husbands went to see Murphy in BYU's Pardoe play "Dial M for Murder"... Hitchcock's great mix of English house murder mystery meets comedy. Murphy was great in it, although a little scary.

To my old friend Pudding on the Rice: it had been too long.

On Saturday we were able to go to the first session of conference. We braved the rainstorms to make it down. Afterwards we also were able to see Charlotte, in from Shanghai with her fam!

A little tired at the session... before the exciting news of all the new temples. We're praying Mitch's company wins the bid for the Rome temple so we can go over there while he works for a bit. He says it's a long shot, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway.

We have now finished the third Harry Potter book. To cap off each book, we've been watching the movies afterwards... it's amazing how little I remember from seeing these movies the first time. They make so much more sense post reading.

Oh-- and I must say that I have never been satisfied since the Potter series. I miss them, and wish other books could be that good! I'm thinking it's time to read them for the 2nd time...
