Death by thesis.

Good news: Yesterday I finished the first draft of my thesis... 75 pages of brain exhaustion. Bad news: I have many rounds of revisions to go before I am done writing it, and then still have to defend it (eek).

The picture below is a good summary of how I feel. Camping out in my small desk spot at the library has become like a second home.

I've read so many books over the past two years that I think my head is going to explode. Every time I needed a quote for my paper these past couple months, I'd remember the quote but completely forget which book it was in. Mitch would find me sifting through our office closet filled with books at night being like, "I know that passage is around here somewhere!!"

Last week I had to get my mind off academic lit for a while and found solace in re-reading Wuthering Heights. I sure miss the days of being an English major and getting to read my favorite classics as homework. I look forward to more leisure reading in a few short months.

YEEEEEESSSSS!!!!

Wuthering Heights is such a good book. One of my all time favorites (along with East of Eden & A Tale of Two Cities). I'm going to reread it soon.

You are such a champion! I cannot WAIT to read your thesis. This is assuming that I get to :) I am so proud of you!

But P.S. Wuthering Heights? Seriously? That book is so difficult for me to get through!
