This lovely lady and her fam are coming twice in a one-month span when baby boy arrives. Twice! I cannot wait. Not even a couple long days at the office can damper my mood now that their trips are booked.
Also made my week: I told my company I’m not coming back after I have the baby. I finally did it. I think my boss almost had a heart attack. The next day I went into his office and he goes, “So I’ve been thinking… what if we can get a nursery set up for you here with daycare? Then would you stay?” Lol! No way I’d want to bring my child there, but makes me feel like they’re realizing how much I do, finally.

Congratulations on telling work. That must be a huge weight off your mind. You made the right choice! There a moments with a baby that no daycare worker could appreciate...only a mother.

Work-Yeah, it's always like that, don't appreciate you until they know you aren't coming back. I'm glad you were able to tell them, I know how hard it is.

Shannon, you are so AMAZING! You are such a great example to not be influenced by what the world wants and to choose the better part. CONGRATULATIONS! What a huge weight off of your shoulders. I'm so proud of you.
Sisters are so amazing! I'm glad that she's coming to share the excitement of the arrival of your baby! How exciting! And - I'm so glad that you told your work - WAY TO GO!!
