It’s true, we love being at home for the holidays; we tried it last year and loved it. It’s so much less stressful and we really do love having so much snow around. Though sadly this meant my sis and her family had to travel—all 6 of them. I think after hauling 4 kids on a plane they may never be traveling again ;)
My sister and her fam left this week; we had a great time with her and her family over the holidays. We loved having a full house. We played games, cooked and baked, shopped, hung out in Salt Lake, and of course celebrated Christmas. It was so fun to have her kiddos here for Christmas morning. On Christmas Eve I heard them up in their room at 2:30 so I went in to see what was going on. I asked what they were doing and they said, “Shannon we just can’t sleep; we’re too excited. We peeked and Santa brought our presents!” It was so cute… how can you be mad at that?

Christmas morning
A wonderful woman in my ward knitted this Christmas sweater for E.
And the kids loved holding baby Emerson.
When we were growing up we didn’t celebrate Christmas, so my sister and I love to experience it with children; I’d say Christmas is definitely most fun with lots of kids around. Hope everyone had a great Holiday.
