Things to Celebrate

With the holidays and the New Year it’s been a great time to celebrate, even though Emerson has been sick with a cold the past week. I keep telling myself it’s making his lungs stronger, but it’s so hard to see him coughing in pain! He’s a tough little guy.

Here we are celebrating with friends on New Year’s Eve

We even made it until midnight with E sleeping soundly.

Reuniting with best friends… so fun to have all the babies together!

Being able to start running again. Started last week thanks to the great BOB stroller and lovely Liberty Park. This is the park where I trained for my half marathon, so now that I think about it, it was actually a little depressing. In the past I’d run 5, 6, or 7 miles no problem; this week it’s been tough running 2!! I’m trying to stay positive but it is definitely tough to get back to where you once were.

It really is so fun to share motherhood with your best girls! Great job on the running. I'm too chicken to run in the cold so I've just been doing volleyball and pilates. You are a better woman than I am!

After Thanksgiving I completely stopped everything. I started up again this week and it's like starting all over again. Too cold for me to run outside still. UGH!

Love the pictures! E looks like quite the popular guy :) Oh my...I cannot WAIT to run again! I have my 6 week PP checkup this Thursday, we'll see what I'm allowed to do!

Way to start up running again but I would not be near as dedicated as you are to run in that freezing cold weather! I will be excited to start running with my running group here again after baby girl is born. I must say that AZ has perfect running weather though :) I'm glad that you guys are still getting out and about with friends even after having a baby. Too many people become hermits :)

Love the pictures of all of you and the babies. Looks like fun. And way to go getting back out there and running! You're doing better than me and I don't have a baby to show for it :)

We should go running together! I just got a jogging stroller for Christmas, and am hoping to run the Salt Lake Marathon in April. I haven't been brave enough to venture in to the snow yet though...
