Wow, we have a 4 month-old baby... time is sure flying by! He is really getting so much personality and turning into the cutest boy. Here’s the info about Emerson for the past month:
- He laughs out loud. So so cute.
- Favorite books: Mirror Me! and Goodnight Moon
- Favorite play song: Noodles on My Back (from the fun Voice Male kids album; Mitch’s parents got it for us and we love it); when we do music time he sings along with his little sounds
- Favorite lullaby: Love is Spoken Here
- He rolls from his stomach to back and back to stomach. He is so wiggly! Whenever we set him down he rolls.. our pediatrician thinks it’s easier for him because he has no chub. So funny. It has really changed my life. Gone are the days of being able to leave him on the bed or in the Boppy while I get something done. It’s even so much harder to give him baths when he’s moving all around.
- He loves to have his diaper changed.
- If Mitch or I am near him and not paying attention, he’ll coo call us (saying, “Hey, play with me!")
- He is basically happy all the time, unless he’s really tired. His smile will melt your heart.
- Though he’s skinny, he is strong. Really strong. His little leg muscles are big!
- He loves to nurse. Luckily I have an awesome electric pump (thanks sis) so he can take a bottle when I’m gone for a bit, or when we go out with friends. Mitch loves to have some feeding time with him.
- He wears socks that fit 12 month olds! His feet are huge. The rest of his clothes he’s wearing all 6 month for the length, but they are super baggy around.

Oh I love him! Now I know that it's Ada's belly in the way of her rolling from her back to her tummy! She gets stuck on her side...it's totally her gut in the way! haha And I have the same boppy cover...only in pink with the birds. We're twinners :)

Aren't their laugh just about the best sound in the world? Hannah is rolling over too. Only once she is on her stomach you can tell she's thinking 'I hate tummy time,' then she'll roll back over. He's got such a sweet face!
He is adorable. And you right they grow up way too fast. I personally like skinny babies, but I might be a little bias. McKay never had a role on his body.
I wouldn't worry about E. I'm sure he's a healthly little boy. You can't compare to other babies. The percentage on the chart doesn't matter. What matters is his curve on the chart. As long as he is stay near the same percentage he's growing just right. I hope that make sense. Your a great mom, I'm sure you making sure he's getting what he needs.

He is growing up so quickly! I forgot how much they change from month to month. It's hard to believe that Ellie will be rolling around like your Emerson in only a few short months!
