The past week…

- We had friends over to watch the BYU basketball game last weekend. We were sad they lost, but it was fun to watch. What could be better than watching some Cougar basketball with friends and some Cadbury Mini Eggs and Pirates Booty? Here are a couple shots we took before the game. (We realized we don’t have any BYU gear for E so we need to pick some up when we’re in Provo this weekend.)

- Mitch used our REI dividend to pick up this awesome little child hiking carrier. Mitch just loves his outdoor gear. He’s been eagerly awaiting the snow to leave so we can go hiking. Until then,we’ve been testing it out around our house with Emerson riding along; so cute.

- Emerson has been eating rice cereal like a champ. I was planning to wait until 6 months to start him on it, but he could really use the extra calories so we started a little earlier. I started by mixing a little cereal with some pumped milk and feeding it to him with a bottle, so he could get used to the taste, and now he’s chowing down by the spoonful from a bowl.

- A couple friends and I have been taking advantage of 24 Hr’s awesome classes over the past month. We do step, yoga, and Zumba. I particularly love Zumba—so much fun!! Come if you live nearby and go to 24 Hr.

- I’ve loved spending time with our neighborhood mom’s group; we have so much fun going to the park with our jogger strollers or having fun lunches with the babes in tow. I think we had about 10 kids there yesterday! Here are 4 of us who most recently had babes.

- The weather has been crazy in Salt Lake… gorgeous sunny days in the 60s and then hail and snow storms. Must be March in Utah.
