Before we left for Seattle we opened some of the family and large presents here at our place. Emerson loved the ripping more than the gifts! Mitch got me the most lovely framed Christ picture for our house. I’d been wanting one for a long time and had put it out of my mind, but got teary-eyed when I opened it. It is gorgeous, a very subtle painting of Christ, with a wonderful frame.
Notice how all the ornaments are moved up on our tree… to prevent E from grabbing them and throwing them like baseballs across our living room.
Also last week, Emerson outgrew his navy Converse. His first pair! We were sad to put them away and opted for some grey ones as a replacement.
