Much more success with our last class than the fail posted below… we were instructed to bring frosted two-layer cakes to class. I was scared of the cracking cake fiasco repeating itself, so I made sure to make my cake two days earlier, and let it sit out unfrosted for a bit before I leveled it so it was a little dry. Not the best tasting probably but at least it held together!
Overall we had a lot of fun at our class, but our teacher really lacked teaching skills. She’s a great cake decorator herself, but wasn’t very proactive about helping everyone in the class. A little frustrating, but still fun and worth it.

Oh! I love the dots. My sister had them on her wedding cake & it totally made me want to learn to do them.
