I may have gone a little crazy buying girl clothes over the past week. One of my best friends is due one week before me and found out a couple days before us they are also having a girl! We naturally couldn’t help but take a little shopping spree together. Then I went another day last week and bought more clothes. Oh dear. Girl clothing can really get you in trouble.
The {tininess} of newborn clothes kills me. And the ruffles everywhere?? So darling.
Good thing I’ve been saving up money in our children’s clothing budget by not buying Emerson very much for the past couple months (just in case!). Poor kid—already being taken over by all things baby girl.

Ah! You got the Splendid Littles! Love, love. But it is a good thing & I didn't get and package them to send to you. I have a back up plan in the works.
It is fun to shop for girls. I really appreciated all my showers and gifts from people before Adie was born, as well as hand-me-downs from relatives, but it made it hard to justify buying much myself because we really didn't need it. Now, Adie is bigger than any relative that was handing down things to her and I get to do most of the shopping. I have to say, I kind of enjoy it :) I am sure you will continue to have a blast having a little girl to take care of.
