Springtime in Utah

The best time of the year, for the month or so that it lasts. It feels so good to have the sun out with a nice little breeze. I’m trying to soak it up before it gets so hot that my pregnant body is miserable and puffy. I can’t even think about how my ankles will probably be swelling in JULY.

Here’s what we’ve been up to:

E holding hands with Lola.

Emerson’s best bud was gone for a week and he was so happy to have him back. E even hugged Hutch when he saw him.

Lots of trips to the children’s museum.

Working on a little quilt for baby girl.

Playing in our “yard”, aka the cement patio. Poor kid.

Drinking smoothies.

Every morning we take a walk to the park… well more like a jog. Emerson runs there. I’d say this was a particularly gorgeous day.

And we love to visit Mitch at work.

Check out this picture from my phone. Emerson’s favorite snack: whole cucumbers. He ate almost the entire thing in one sitting.

And lots of trips to parks.

As you’ll notice, Mitch has been in most of the fun/action pictures with Emerson. I am getting to the stage of pregnancy that is really uncomfortable. My stomach is getting large and getting in the way a lot. Here’s to summer and heat and pregnancy :)
