Check out this picture that Emerson made for me in his first day at nursery. So cute! I mean really he just put some handprints on it, but I love our nursery leaders for thinking of this idea.
And I can honestly say yesterday was the most relaxing church experience I’d had in so long! I actually got to listen to the lessons without chasing E around.
This weekend I spent almost all day Saturday working on sewing projects for baby girl’s nursery and Mitch also purchased perhaps the best mother’s day present ever for me—a 7 passenger car. We are so excited to have some extra room once we get two car seats in there. Breakfast in bed (his specialty, banana pancakes) and lots of chocolate were also great Mother’s Day gifts.
I’m so grateful to be a mother and hope I can rise to the important responsibility it is for my children. I hope I can help them be good, hard-working, and happy people. Happy Mother’s Day!
