She is here! I was induced at 9am yesterday morning. After a few short hours of labor and two pushes little Vieve came sweetly and easily here—a much shorter labor than with Emerson!

I had the best nurse and midwife! They made the day such a wonderful experience!
Genevieve has a full head of hair like Emerson did, which is hard to tell in some pictures because the nurses are having us keep her hat on so she stays warm to keep her blood sugar up. We love her already and are snuggling with her! Emerson came this morning to meet her and he barely noticed her, but just wanted to come cuddle me. I missed him so much!

Seriously. You look amazing. Like the kind of pictures you see in magazines (are their birthing magazines?) of post-labor women & you think there is NO WAY a real human could have gone through labor and still look that good.

Lola was the same way when she came to visit. Can't wait to meet this beautiful little dolly of yours! Love you!
What a beauty and I will never get over how great you and others look in your photos right after giving birth. Are you kidding me? I like that her weight was her due date. Emmerson's legs look so long in that first pic of him. I showed my husband, because he is just so different than River's chubby legs. I hope your recovery is as quick as your labor.
