This post is a little late—Genevieve is now 6 weeks old!—but I’m just getting around to posting her 1 month pictures and info. I’ve had a hard time getting to the computer with my injured leg and I can finally go up and down the stairs now (albeit very slowly) so I’ve been able to get these pictures uploaded from a couple weeks ago.
Vieve is the sweetest baby. She has been such a blessing to us during this huge trial with my knee. She sleeps like a champ, eats like a champ, and cheers me up when I’m frustrated that I’m stuck inside ;) She coos, smiles, kicks her legs, and poos a lot. I love newborns and am trying to see this injury as a blessing in that I’ve gotten to spend every day with mine. We think she weighs between 8-9 lbs. based on our home scale, but we’ll see at her 2 month appt. in a couple weeks.

The cycle of chair shots starts again! What a sweet little girl. She is looking more like Emerson, I think. But also has her own look, too. Precious.

She's so cute. I still need to meet her. I can't get over how tiny newborns are. It's hard for me to remember that far back. Plus River was only small for two weeks.
