Update

Slowly my knee is getting a little better each day. About a week after the surgery I was able to get up and put some weight on my leg. Each day I’ve been increasing the weight and have been walking (very slowly with a limp) for several days. I’m trying to balance between resting enough to let it heal and walking on it enough to keep my muscles strong and keep the circulation going.

At least I can still hold my kiddos while I’m sitting down!IMGP5545

And Emerson’s having a grand time playing with my crutches. IMGP5541

He’s also become a lot more attached to his blankies since he’s had to leave me every day to go to our friends’ house. He is doing so well there and doesn’t even get upset when Mitch drops him off before work. (Nursery, however, is quite another story. I’m starting to wonder if he’ll ever like it there.)IMGP5547

And our little Vieve is just as cute as ever! I am grateful she has been such a good baby. She’s a sweetie.IMGP5595

Thank you to everyone who has been helping us out and even the nice visits and gifts of magazines and treats! I am having a hard time staying inside all day and these things have helped a ton, not to mention not having to worry about dinner. I am trying to keep my mind off the fact that minus my surgery and visits to the doctor, I have been inside my house for 3 weeks straight. It’s getting a bit frustrating! I've read 9 books and dozens of magazines in the past 2 weeks. The majority of my time has been spent in my bedroom and I'm starting to wonder why I painted it mustard yellow--the walls are closing in on me!

Vieve's skinny little legs?! TOO MUCH!

Hope everyday is getting easier. Call me whenever you need to vent about the walls. :)
