Sundays have been getting better and better around here. Emerson is doing really well in nursery, he is napping later so he’s not so tired at church, and I finally have my routine down getting myself and the kids ready while Mitch is gone. He still has meetings all day before and after church, but I’ve been able to figure it out now that my leg isn’t hurting so much anymore.
I also have to say how cute Emerson was this morning—I was taking pictures of Genevieve (basically I only try to take pictures of her nowadays because Emerson hates it and just runs away from me!). However, this morning he jumped up on the chair next to Vieve and starting playing with her. She loves him and always laughs when he talks to her! Have you ever seen Emerson sit so still for pictures? I haven’t.
Fingers crossed next week won’t be horrible. But there is something just really great about having the kids do well on Sunday and getting to enjoy church.

I really look forward to the day when church isn't completely the worst day. We've been taking Eliot to nursery for a few months, trying to get him use to it before the baby comes. He takes one look at the nursery leaders and runs away, screaming!
