Mitch and the kids spoiled me last week for Mother’s Day. Mitch took the baby and the kids downstairs and let me sleep in while they made me breakfast and a yummy smoothie. The kids also made me some sweet cards and Mitch got a little “H” pendant for my necklace with pendants for each of the kids’ initials on it. (Now that I have E, G, and H he was joking we need an F in there to make it run in alphabetical order.)
We attempted a picture but Genevieve was having a bit of a tantrum before church last week and didn’t want any part of it!
At church the primary and youth sang “Love is Spoken Here” broken into male and female parts. Mitch and I were beaming we were so proud of Emerson—he sang every single word, and loudly too! I sleuth-ily snapped a shot of E (in the front) because I was so proud I wanted to remember that moment! He looked at us almost the entire time too. This was the best Mother’s Day gift! That evening our friends had us over for homemade Cafe Rio which was the perfect way to end the day! Grateful for my wonderful husband and our cute kiddos who’ve made me a mom. Life sure is crazy with 3 young kids (keeping it real: also not pictured from church last Sunday leaving sacrament meeting about 10 times between the 2 of us to handle a myriad of tantrums, bathroom breaks, diaper changes, and timeouts) but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Kids who sing loud in church are my favorite! Your family is wonderful, tantrums, timeouts, bathroom breaks and all!
