Henry at 5 Months

Henry_5 Months

This little guy. He is just the sweetest. He is such a blessing to our family. He the happiest little person alive, sweet, active, but also loves to be held. He’s rolling all over the place and even getting up on all 4s like he wants to crawl. He is a little mover! I don’t think Genevieve was attempting things like that until 10 months! She is definitely the child who likes to sit still. Henry LOVES rough housing, being tossed in the air, tickled, and swung around. He likes to move and jump.

Emerson loves Henry. Every morning he goes into get Henry when he wakes up. He always wants to hold him, feed him, help me change him, or whatever I’m doing with Henry, he wants to be there. Genevieve has really started warming up to H in the past month. She is a lot happier around him and tries to sit by him and play with him.

I feel like his sleep has reverted this past month. He was waking up only once or twice a night but for the past month I feel like it’s been 5 times a night. I know this is a sign he’s ready to cry it out but I’m just working up the gusto emotionally to do that! It worked wonders with our other kids but it does take a couple days of being willing to let them cry. And it’s so hard to see this cutie crying. Needless to say I’m completely exhausted. I’ve been getting about 4 hours of sleep a night for the past month and I don’t think I can do it much longer! C’mon Henry!!

Emerson is always wanting to hold H. Below he’s cuddling him while they’re watching a movie. Only lasted for a couple minutes but I loved it.IMG_9455 IMG_0047 Other than the sleep though he’s such a sweetie. Love you little H man and can’t believe you’re 5 months old!

Sleep reverting is the worst and it does take awhile to build up the motivation to let them cry it out. I feel for you!

Also, when did E start looking so grown up? Does River look that grown up to you? I think it is just more noticeable when it is a child you don't see very often. Wow... slow down a little guys.
