In March we attended an annual meeting for Mortenson’s Federal Contracting Group - the division Mitch is in. I couldn’t believe how huge it was and this is only one tiny part of his company. They rented out the whole Minneapolis Convention Center, had drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a fully catered dinner, and some amazing speeches and videos from the executives. I know the point of these meetings is to really convince spouses to love the company, and it completely worked. I left there feeling like we should stick with them forever. Hehe. I’m easily persuaded. And I’m so proud of Mitch too! Person after person told me how irreplaceable and valuable he was to their teams and the company.
I also loved meeting Mitch’s coworkers and business friends. And surprisingly there are so many LDS people there. Such a fun night!
