WOWW! It has certainly been forever since we've posted, particularly because of a couple things: 1) We were in Europe for 2 weeks, 2) We moved to Salt Lake 2 days after we got back, 3) I started fall term and work the same week we got back and were moving!
But we had the best time in Europe! It was a perfect anniversary... we went to London and Paris and the French countryside--to Giverny to see Monet's wonderful home, gardens, and water lilies. We got to see everything we wanted and relax at the same time. Oh and it was so fun going to all the museums because Mitch had just taken humanities 202 and I took the art symbology class while I did study abroad in London, so we were talking about the history and background of all the paintings. I loved it! And we were lucky enough to see a great performance of Les Mis and see our first performance of Wicked, which was so amazing I was singing it the whole trip-scary, I know.
But we can also say Mitch has now been able to experience so many great architectural feats he's studied about for years! --IM Pei's Louvre addition, the chunnel train, Notre Dame, La Tour Eiffel, Houses of Parliament, British Museum, etc. And I have to say you don't realize how much you miss European chocolate until you taste it again!!! Especially the crepes in Paris!
Lastly, a key highlight of our trip was my use of all the French I'd learned from 2 years at BYU... I used it everywhere we went and it was much better than I expected. And Mitch started using key phrases also... and of course sounded better than me! We had a great time and only wish it could have been longer. But now we are living in Salt Lake and loving our new place. This weekend we are off to California for Sarah and Patrick's wedding! We are so excited for them :)

What a fun time...I'm jealous. I wish I could have gone with. Well, actually, I wish I could have gone with Kevin! It was a much deserved trip for you two after being apart all summer. I hope that all is going well with your studies and work. It sounds like you've had a whirlwind month. We miss you.
Oh, and I'm so jealous you got to see Wicked!
Oh how fun! We will miss you so much...we'll have to go to your place in SLC sometime. I loved Monet's place. One of my favorite things I did there. It has given me a dream of painting my place (the one I am going to get soon...just you wait) like Monets house. He had the advantage of being a master of painting and color though. :( But Eddie is close enough i guess!
Looks like you had a wonderful vacation and got lots of great pictures. I am trying not to be jealous and just happy for you that you got to go ;)
I'm SO jealous! Aaaghh! Yet, I rejoice in your happiness. Ha.
How's your new place? How is school? We miss you. Come visit SF on your next vacay. We have a very comfy air matress just waiting for you.
