Shan and Mitch as American Tourists (note the stuffing)
At Jamie and Nate's wonderful Halloween party--Jame is goth and Jare is Murphy in his lacrosse team best. Perhaps the best part of Jare's costume was Murphy dressed up as her, wearing her clothes, jewelry, and even carrying a mom purse and Diet Coke!

One of my lesser attempts this year! I am a wind turbine (alternative energy!) and Lauren is the clean sky that results from wind energy. Too bad everyone thought I was a cross between a ninja and a helicopter or that she was a confused statue of liberty. ha.
Mitch's friend from California as Doug (doo do doo do). Next year I'm thinking Mitch and I will do this, but as Skeeter and Patty Mayonnaise.

And lastly, Michelle and Brandon as Angela and Dwight. Among many Office costumes this year, theirs is clearly one of the year's best representations, esp. the facial expressions!

Ok- those flower pants are quite possibly the ugliest things I have ever seen. Perfect for the costume, but hideous.
I'm glad the bear made the list. My sister's boyfriend wore the bear to a party they went to on Saturday and of course, it was a hit. He is my hero though, because he kept the head on all night. This guy at my work wants to have an ice skating party, just so I can wear the bear costume on the ice rink.
I was considering dressing up as Doug & Patty this year... I guess it isn't that original.
Halloween is the best...so sad that it is over.
(PS- I do have pictures of us from the barn party, but didn't post one for obvious reasons...)
LOVE the wind turbine! obviously utahns are not with it if they think you were a ninja.
cam and i went to the village halloween parade and saw a guy as Larry Craig with a urinal attached to him. classic.
it didn't beat the multiple men in thongs and angel wings though!
You guys look AMAZING. And I love the wind turbine as well. Good thing my first thought before reading the post was is she a windmill? Close right? I can't wait to see what your kids will be dressed up as one day!
bravo on the alternative energy- by far my favorite!
Dear Shannon,
I will happily join your campaign against Wal-Mart. Let me explain my actions. I was in absolute need of the Britney cd, and Wal-Mart was the only open purchasing location at midnight on Monday. Had a small, local business such as Gray Whale been open, I most certainly would have taken my business there. That having been said, in retrospect I realize that I let my passion for Britney overshadow my support for American small businesses, and for that I am sorry. Please forgive my irresponsible consumer habits.
Sincerely,
Meggan
