Drinking Chocolate.

I feel the need to let everyone know about my new favorite dessert. Has anyone ever had drinking chocolate? Why have I not heard about this before? It is actual chunks of chocolate that you heat with milk. Basically it’s like breaking up a dark chocolate bar into milk and steaming until incorporated. It honestly tastes like steamed liquid chocolate cream coating your throat and warming your insides (I think I’m salivating just describing it). You will never go back to ordinary hot chocolate after this! I recommend the peppermint flavor.

Shannon, you're so gourmet, I love it! What will they think of next? I submit that there can never be too many ways to eat/drink chocolate.

Shannon--Have you ever been to the SLC Cocoa Cafe? It's genuine Italian hot chocolate and amazing. You should go try it--Viva Venezia!

This is essentially how they make it in Puerto Rico. They use real chocolate and melt it in hot milk. It far superior to the powder here. I was not aware Ghirardelli had this product. Thanks for making me aware. I'll definitely check it out!

Have you tried Williams Sonama's version? I don't know what the Ghiradelli one tastes like but if it's as good as that then it must be DIVINE.
