Big 2nd Place Win!!

As you know from earlier posts, Mitch was in Puerto Rico last week for a national construction competition with 26 teams from universities all over the country (Virginia Tech, UW, Purdue, Cal Poly, Auburn, Texas A&M, etc.). Funny thing is, the BYU team was instantly friends with everyone around after giving away their drink vouchers to other teams! Hahaha.

Well after days of grueling mock bids, written proposals, estimates, project management plans, and a huge presentation, Mitch and the BYU team of 4 students got 2^nd place!! This is a huge deal not just for him but for BYU as well. His team is being presented awards at a downtown SLC conference this week. These competitions just make me miss the good old high school and college days of memorized presentations… ad lab, DECA, suits and button-ups (you know… really cheesy, trying to be professional?).
