San Francisco Love

After a hectic month of finals, projects, half marathon, Mitch's graduation, etc. etc. we were ecstatic to get out of town for a week. Last week we spent 6 days in San Francisco hanging out mostly with our best friends Sarah and Patrick letting them be tourists in their own city but also waxing sorrow at our decision not to move there. We love it.

There are far too many pictures here for anyone to be excited about, but trust me this is small for the hundred or so we took.

Highlights included:
-Amazing restaurants (Foreign Cinema is fab.)
-Visiting San Fran's ad agencies
-Seeing AT&T Park and Ken Griffey Jr
-Visiting Stanford and Santa Cruz
-Biking the GG Bridge to Sausalito
-Seeing Jamie Funk-Cook and the most adorable little boy in the world Bryson
-Eating Kara's Cupcakes, North Beach Italian gelato, crepes, etc. etc.
-A city that incorporates sustainability into everything, even our ice cream spoons
-Alcatraz, hearing stories of Al Capone and other famous inmates
-Amazing architecture

Just before our bike ride across the bridge

Japanese Tea Garden

Reds/Giants Game

Best view of the San Fran "WHALE tail" (haaa, so sick)

Just hangin out with Rodin's sculptures at Stanford

How does anyone go to school here? It is a resort.

Joint MBAs 2012??

Just the view from our Hotel Carlton terrace (aka fire escape)
Santa Cruz pier

My dream house, the Mrs. Doubtfire house was a total letdown--I mean look at the boards on the windows...

Everywhere you look....

Crepe-vine

I love Lombard Street!

Alcatraz cruise!

The ROCK

Does anyone else think it's scary that Alcatraz was SO close to the city?

Ghirardelli Square

Kara's Cupcakes

Mama's on Washington Square--BEST breakfast in San Fran!

Look at the line to get in this place... creepy onlookers

Naturally...

Ask Mitch if Mama's compares to Kay's!! It looks like Jon Howe's mom watching you guys eat there. :) I'm glad you had fun but sad we couldn't come play! I could totally go for a hot fudge sundae trip right about now. Mmmm Ghiradelli Square!

Hey blog friend!! Looks like you had a fun trip. Isn't AT&T park amazing? When I lived at home, I would go to a Giants game once a week during the summer. I love the Coke slide.
