One great thing about living in Utah is the amount of low cost kid-friendly activities. However, this can be a bit of a nuisance when the aquarium offers a free admission day and the lines are backing up traffic to get in. I believe every mother in the greater Salt Lake area was at the aquarium with her kids on Monday. We braved the line to check out what the aquarium had to offer. It’s no Seattle Aquarium but it was a lot of fun for the kids.
Emerson loves animals. Like he is eerily obsessed with them. Anytime a dog, cat, bird, fish, or any creature comes into his line of sight he is squealing, laughing and running to touch it. I think we’ll be making a lot of trips to the zoo this spring.
Some kids smile for pictures. Mine does not unless I’m doing a jig or singing a song. He is so camera-shy. I assure you in real life he is running around our house squealing and laughing… but the second I pull out a camera or video recorder, he’s in shock. Look at that face!
E & Blayke were sporting the Converse.
Before this picture, Emerson was banging on the window of that large shark tank behind me, trying to reach out and touch the sharks and turtles.

Your hair is so long! Pretty!
You look gorgeous!! And I've totally been missing out on all of your fun adventures! You seriously know how to have a good time. What a good mommy!! :D Just wish I could've been there to see Emerson banging on the shark tank or hear you guys singing the millionaire song for karaoke! Love it!
Haha, we went there to take advantage of the free day, but I promptly drove right out of the parking lot when I saw the line. I decided I'd rather pay another day. Adie wasn't very happy with me though. You're brave to tackle that line.
