A couple weeks ago we had a little birthday party for a friend at the Karaoke Café—a place that a couple in our ward just opened. We figured it would be a fun way to celebrate and support them. The best part of the café? Their live karaoke stream online. They also have a separate room for dining with karaoke, and a main room for dining without the blare of our lovely voices. Who doesn’t love karaoke? It’s always so hilarious and fun.
We all selected songs for the other couples to mix it up. The song selected for our fam? “I Wanna be a Billionaire (So Freaking Bad).” It was hilarious. I did the singing parts, Mitch did the rapping parts, and Emerson wondered in shock the whole time what we were doing.
Bubba and Jordan sang Livin on a Prayer, Bon Jovi. Classic karaoke song.
Marty and Jenny did Ke$ha’s Tick-Tock song. Wow, that one was awesome.
Shae and Curtis and little London did Paradise City.
Our babies are scarred for life after all these loud and off key performances.
