Amidst sewing some projects for friends (3 of my best friends are having babies within 3 weeks of me!), as well as projects for many babies coming in our ward, my little sewing machine has been hard at work. Here are some blankets I made for our baby girl. I found some great plush fabric online for only $5 a yard, so I snatched a bunch of it up to use as the blanket backing.
It’s so funny how different it is getting ready for a baby girl versus a boy. With Emerson I’d barely made anything and had only about 5 outfits ready for him. I must say I’ve made a lot more (and purchased a lot more!) for this girl. I’m getting excited to meet her!
