So busy I feel like I still haven’t had time to come up for air… you know that feeling right before you have a baby? You want to get everything done that you’ve never felt the need to do for the past year? Make 15 baby blankets, organize the drawer in the kitchen with paper napkins and plastic forks, Pledge all wood surfaces, scrub bathrooms, and then throw some baby showers and host get-togethers on top of it? And then organize and purchase needed things for the new baby, sew quilts and clothes for the babe, run our very busy print shop, and spend a couple weekends out of town. Also those pesky weekly doctor appointments and other visits like dentist trips and so forth are really maxing out my days. I’m hoping this pre-baby stress and work will pay off so I can just relax with my baby when she gets here! Here are some pictures of the past month or so. Can’t really remember when everything has happened. So pregnant with such a fuzzy mind.
Throwing baby showers. Here are some pics from Jordan’s shower and the blue velvet cake I made—more to come soon on the shower.
Lunches with girlfriends. I’m trying to get caught up on visiting with friends before I go into a black hole of non-socialness for 2 months ;)
Taking Emerson to the water park at least several times a week with his buddies! I need to get some fun things in with him before I am a sleepless zombie.
Making lots of blankets for friends—so many that I’ve only remembered to take pictures of half:
And as Emerson likes to do, I’ve been contemplating life:
Can I survive with one baby and a crazily active toddler? I am hoping so! Her room is almost ready so pics will (hopefully) come soon.

I'm hungry. Seeing that cake at lunch time was not good for me. Off to the kitchen to make a poor eating decision. I'm blaming you. ;)
You can TOTALLY do it! I swear, it's so much easier than I thought it would be! Plus, you are super woman, so you can do anything :)
You are making me feel SO LAZY & unproductive!!! I need to hop to it. Waiting for nesting instinct to kick in..... :)
You'll do great!! Can't wait to see pics of her. And PS- I love all the baby blankets! You are so productive! :)
