I took this picture two weekends ago. This little guy is just a bit obsessed with Buzz Lightyear. You know how people advise getting your oldest child a doll when you have a new baby? (So they can treat the doll like their own baby?) We decided not to do that but about a month ago got the large Buzz toy for him—shortly after we realized this was like E’s doll. He brings Buzz everywhere, hugs it, tries to feed it, and even gives him five. Every day when he wakes up all he says is, “Buzz? Buzz?” Looks like our boy has a doll in action-figure form.

That is awesome. River has just become attached to one of his bears. He is always signing bear, bear. It makes it nice at bed time, because he won't want to go to bed and I'll say, we can get your bear... then he's totally excited for bed. P.S. How did you get him to play quietly in the pew at church? I'd even settle for playng loudly in the pew, if only I could keep him in the pew. He wants to dash off to the front and climb the stairs.
You know this has to be his Halloween costume, right?! Here's an idea - Emerson is Buzz, Hudson is Woody. Do you want to hop on a plane or should I?
We've actually been looking at Buzz costumes!! Let's do it!
