We had such a good weekend—the first I can remember in a long time where I was able to go out comfortably. I’m still a bit slow but I’m walking a lot better. I can even go up and down the stairs normally (one leg for each stair), albeit slowly. We went on a couple double dates, ate Thai food, Chinese food and French desserts, had a game night, took the kids to the children’s museum, had a really fun dinner with Mitch’s family, went to the waterpark (I sat on the sidelines with the babe ;), and spent all afternoon yesterday deep cleaning the house. I love three-day weekends because they are fun and productive.
Church this Sunday was much better than last week—Emerson played quietly in the pew the whole time, while this cute girl slept in her car seat. Here’s Genevieve in her Sunday best.
Today is the first day I've had both kids all day since my ACL surgery, and man am I tired! After feeding Emerson breakfast and cleaning up, feeding the baby, doing laundry, and going on a walk with my sore knee, I resorted to just letting E play on the patio this morning where he could be fenced in. Two kids + injury is tiring!

Good luck. We are still praying for you.
Emerson played quietly in the pew?! I dream of those days...are you telling me it is 10 months out??
Love Vieve's green dress.
