We blessed this sweet girl today. Even though Emerson was climbing all over me during the blessing and yelling out “Daddy!” at the top of his lungs to Mitch, I still got teary-eyed thinking about my little girl and her life. I love her so much. Since she’s been here she’s been nothing but a blessing to us, especially with my knee injury. She is so loved and we are grateful for all the friends and family there to support little Genevieve Claire.
After the blessing we had a luncheon at the park with a friend in my ward also blessing her baby… lots of food and lots of chasing Emerson around. Mitch was completely worn out afterwards, poor guy. Emerson doesn’t stop for one second when we’re at a park… he’s literally running around the whole time.

Kind of nice to share a luncheon with a friend - splitting prep duties. Putting that on my list of things to do differently for baby #2.

Goodness gracious, I adore that little girl! Thanks for including us in such a beautiful event. We loved seeing you again today! I'm lucky to have such a wonderful friend :)
