Here is my attempt to get Emerson to smile for the camera—he still doesn’t like to sit still or look at the camera. Genevieve is definitely different than him. She is smiles whenever anyone even talks to her. At this point in their lives, I’d have to say these two kids are almost 100% opposite!
I feel like I’ve really gotten the rhythm down with two kids (well I feel comfortable with them each day—that isn’t to say each day goes as planned—in fact I’d say the norm is every day is a bit unplanned and everything is somewhat unexpected!).
In the morning we do school time with Emerson… he’s saying about half his letters now, short sentences, and about 70 words without being prompted (we had to count for his doctor; it was actually tough to count them all).
While we do school, this cute girl sits in her bouncy chair on the table, just hanging out.
We’ve been going to the park every day and the little library at the community center across the street from our house. They give each child a free book every time you go! Perks of living in the ghetto.
Happy Vieve… She melts my heart.
I cannot get of enough of these kids. I love them to pieces, even on the days when I am so tired I feel like I’ll fall over, or barely have time to shower or clean up the strew of toys throughout my house.

Vieve stretching! Oh my goodness! I love little baby stretches. So cute! And I love her blue & pink stripes.
I spy Buzz next to Emerson.
And free books?! Man, our library needs help.
Oh my goodness what a little cutie pie! I love the bottom picture of her! She is so beautiful!
