Moving

I just made a new print for our shop today—of Minnesota.
Mitch was offered a job last week with a big construction management firm in Minneapolis, and just this week we’ve decided to take it! We are really excited for our new adventure but so sad to leave our friends and family in Utah. I have been feeling such a mix of emotions over the past week—excitement for Mitch, devastation to leave our friends, loving the idea of a new adventure, getting an ulcer over our house here and what to do with it, and have loved learning about Minneapolis and all the cool things there.
Minnesota
Will you please come visit me? I have been to over 30 states but have never been to Minnesota. And I’m moving there. I can’t quite wrap my head around it but we really feel like that’s where we’re supposed to be. They are flying us out in a couple weeks to look at houses, and then they are moving us out mid-January. As in one month from now. I’m stressed just thinking about it!
I am so proud of my husband for getting such an awesome job with a great company, but hoping that emotionally I can make it through this change! Wish us luck!

I read this on Facebook and was so excited for you. My dad frequently visits Minnesota and never has anything bad to say. I am excited to read about all your adventures.

You honestly have such a great outlook on life, that you are going to make Minnesota feel like home. You will make great friends and grow as a family! Good luck with all the packing.

How exciting! I would be really sad to leave friends and family too. Did you know that we fly in to Minneapolis every summer?? It's true! My mom has a house in Lakefield, MN (where she grew up) and we go there every summer for 2 weeks! We are always there around the 4th of July so we should definitely get together!

If anyone can do it, you can. And you'll do it beautifully, with style, and make it look effortless to the rest of us. Love you :)
