We’ve been trying to stay busy here, perhaps because we miss Salt Lake so much… it helps keep us distracted :)
We’ve continued going to the Maple Grove library every Thursday for toddler reading time. Emerson just loves it! They read, they dance, they sing. It’s basically toddler heaven. Genevieve likes it too! Lots of little kids to watch jumping around.
Playdate at the church with kids… such a good idea. Cultural hall—totally open, and everyone brings some bikes and scooters. Moms sit with babies while toddlers run around. Genius.
It’s been getting nice here… The past week we’ve had over 5 days in the 50s! Even though the snow hasn’t melted, we’ve been going to lots of parks and playgrounds, exploring what’s nearby. This particular day we didn’t even need coats.
Lastly, we went to a place called The Maze with some neighbors from our ward. It is basically a huge jungle-themed indoor playplace at the local community center. Emerson went crazy in there! He loved the slides and tubes.
And we’re still loving the gym play place too! Surprisingly, I feel like there is more for kids to do here than in Utah. Maybe it’s just because we live in the suburbs now. It’s nice to have lots going on when you’re in a new place. I have to say though between outings, working on the print shop, and basic day-to-day activities around the house, I am exhausted. I think I’ll be tired forever!

All those places look so fun - especially the Maze, since it doesn't look like there are openings where the kids can fall out. I swear I can never let Hudson run around the playground, because there are all these cutouts that he can totally fall and eat it bad from, like 10 feet up!
I need to get on my ward about this cultural hall play time thing!
Emerson looks so happy. I am glad there are so many kids and so much to do for you all!!! Hugs...Mom
Wow that all looks so fun! I think there is more kid stuff to do out there too, and holy kid fest, looks like you guys live in a great area with lots of kiddos! Hope you guys are doing well, we sure miss you!
