Two and a half.

Can you believe Emerson is two and a half years old? It seems like he was just recently a little baby scooting around with his skinny little legs. He has changed so much in the past 6 months I can barely believe it. He talks so much I can hardly get him to stop and he is even more excited about life than ever. He gets excited to do little things like water our flowers and walk to the mailbox. He calls Genevieve “Genevieve Claire” or “Baby Genevieve” whenever he references her. He is obsessed with baseball, basketball (back-et-ball), and most anything with trains, balls, or rockets. He can count to 15, knows his alphabet and the ABC song, and is starting to sound out words. He knows all his colors and shapes, and of course all of his construction trucks (thanks to Mitch!). He loves to sing (Mr. Sun and Twinkle Twinkle are 2 of his favorites to sing). He loves his guitar (ukulele) that grandpa got him last week. He knows his nursery songs and finally loves nursery in our new ward. He still gets mad when we try to make him eat. He loves his smoothies but doesn’t like real food much. He is a momma’s boy through and through but will leave me in a second to go biking in the trailer with his daddy. Every night he says “mommy come” when he gets in to bed, wanting me to read and play with him. He is about to finish his first preschool class. He loves walks on the trail and trips to the park. He never walks anywhere if he can run. He loves to wear his sunglasses in the car and drive with the windows down. IMG_4797

This past six months has been an explosion of growth. I barely recognize are little boys anymore.

That is unbelievable how much he looks like Mitch! Basically his little twin! And your little Vieve may look like him, but is SO girly too, even without her bows. She is so darling. You make some cute kiddos!
