Summer Play

Trying to get caught up… we’ve all been sick this week and I’m behind in lots of blog journaling. We’ve been loving the warmer weather here in Minnesota. It’s allowed us to be outside a lot more and see how gorgeous this state really is.

We love taking family bike rides. The kids hang out in the trailer while Mitch and I ride. (Mitch does all the pulling; I fear I’d tip the kids over if I did.)

Every week or two, some moms from E’s preschool class get together at the park. This park has a playground and a lake. The kids love it!

Usually this kid ends up naked in the car parked in the garage while I clean all the sand and toys out of the car. He loves “driving.”IMG_5091

We love meeting up at the gym swimming pool with E’s friend Owen. I get to drop Genevieve off at the infant care so I can be “all hands on deck” for Emerson. We are especially excited to hit the outdoor pool now that it’s open.

We’ve also had fun setting up our cheap little plastic pool in the back yard.IMG_5267

BBQ in the backyard with friends. The boys started wrestling and hurting each other so we put a little movie on for them. A little hilarious. They are cuties.IMG_5779

More to come about Mitch & Emerson’s father/son campout as well as little Vieve being 11 months old. How did that happen?!

I love them in that trailer!

And tell me more about this gym pool... Does Emerson know how to swim? Is it totally shallow/wading depth? It looks amazing!

Emerson looks a little young to be driving ;)

Don't you just love summer? Isn't it so great going on adventures with the kids? They have a blast getting tired and dirty, and then you start over the next day.
