Here are a couple shots of my baby belly. I haven’t had much time to post about this pregnancy (or much time to think about it!) but it’s been very similar to my others. Really tough first trimester, pretty easy second trimester, and (I’m guessing) getting so huge in the 3rd trimester it will be difficult to accomplish anything! We found out at the beginning of December that we’re having another boy and couldn’t be more excited! Of course we’d really be happy with either gender but we are so excited for Emerson to have a little brother just about 3 years younger than him.
Here I am at 28 weeks, just starting the 3rd trimester this week:
And here I was at about 23 weeks:
And for some reason I looked bigger at 18 weeks than I did at 23. Probably had a big lunch.
I’m definitely surprised by how much more quickly you show each time around. I feel huge. And the baby really is starting to get huge. This pregnancy has been almost identical to Emerson’s. I’m not sure if it’s because this baby is a boy or just a fluke because I’ve heard many people say that all their pregnancies were different, regardless of gender.
I’m praying this baby can be healthy and a good sleeper! I’m already wondering how I will make it through the days running on barely any sleep. Here’s to hoping we can figure it out. 12 weeks to go!

12 weeks! It will be here so soon.
You look fantastic and I am amazed at all the things you do with two little ones. Super Mom
You look awesome!! You have the exact order of genders that we have, we love it! It always seems like the first 8 weeks of my babies life are a sleep deprived blur and I think the hardest part about having a newborn is battling the immense amount of guilt I feel about not spending quality time or doing anything fun with the other kids. I just always have to remember that the baby will eventually sleep and things will go back to normal and more than likely the older kids dont feel bad and are probably loving watching a ridiculous amount of PBS anyways :) That mother guilt sure gets the best of me though!! You will do great!
You look so cute! I really struggle with pregnancy fashion, and you look fabulous. April is going to be here before we know it!
You are so pretty!
