Skiing

I have so much I’d love to blog about but I never seem to have the time. This is our little family journal so I try to keep it up but always seem to be missing some things.

Last weekend Mitch took Emerson skiing while I was throwing a baby shower at our house. You may remember here when we took Emerson skiing with his friend Saiji when they were only 17 months old. That is younger than Genevieve right now and I don’t think there’s any way we could get her to go out in the cold on some skis. Emerson is definitely our adventurous child. He had so much fun then and still loves it!

Now, the skiing here is much more tame than in Utah (think Green runs everywhere) but it’s actually perfect for teaching small children. Mitch said Emerson was by far the youngest child out there, but he had such a great time. He came home saying “I did the pizza!” (slowing down) and “I did the French fries” (going fast). Also it is MUCH cheaper to ski here than in Utah. If it wasn’t 5 degrees outside I might say it’s better for kids.
