We had a fun day celebrating Mitch! I can’t help but gush about the guy who is the best daddy to our kids. They are obsessed with Mitch! Every day when Mitch comes home from work the kids are waiting for him, either looking out the window for him, playing on the grass outside our house watching for him, or looking at his car on the iPhone find my friends map. He rough-houses with our kids every night until he’s exhausted, he takes them on individual dates so they each have time with him, he’s always thinking of fun activities for the kids, he watches Henry all the time for me so I can go to the gym or even have girls’ nights with my friends. He is the best dad and he loves our kids to pieces!
Also of course I have to mention my dad who basically helped me through everything in life. He was always there for me even through a rough childhood. I still remember him coaching my softball team, coming to my volleyball and basketball games, taking me out for Saturday day-dates on the weekends, and teaching me how to drive a stick.
I am sure lucky to have my amazing husband and dad. Thankful for a holiday to reflect on them!
