Last week we put Emerson in a fun little soccer camp for 3 and 4 year-olds. The camp was at a really great park right on Lake Minnetonka so we had fun going down as a family every evening to watch him play, walk by the lake, and eat a little picnic dinner.
Emerson loved the camp! He had so much fun learning to kick, dribble, and shoot goals. He also loved learning to play goalie because he was excited to be able to use his hands. It was pretty hilarious to see so many young kids running around in circles trying to learn how to play soccer. The funniest part was that almost all the other kids had shin guards and some even had cleats on. I just couldn’t justify buying those things for a 3 year-old soccer camp! E still had fun.
Vieve was there too! Genevieve learning how to kick:
Probably more pics than you’d ever want to see of a 3 year-old soccer camp but Emerson loves looking at them all! Evenings at soccer camp were a fun way to celebrate that the sun has been staying around for more than a day or two here in MN ;)
