Cannot believe this girl is TWO. The past two years have flown by. We had a great day celebrating Genevieve with all things pink… she is obsessed with pink! Every time she sees something pink (shoes, crayons, shirt) she starts shouting “BINK BINK”. So funny.
Some notes about Genevieve at age 2:
- She loves to eat watermelon, bananas, pasta, lollipops, cheese, and berry smoothies from Costco.
- She is very very particular. Like if there is a speck on her food or a piece of dirt on her hand it may result in a tantrum.
- But she can also be the world’s biggest sweetheart. She always says “love you datty or love you mommy” and it melts our hearts.
- She is obsessed with Mitch and during the day always says “Where my datty?”
- She is still a little uncoordinated and sometimes trips when she’s just walking. Poor thing.
- She follows Emerson everywhere and mimics everything he does. She also keeps saying “I'm not a girl, I'm a BOY” because Emerson is a boy. Oh dear.
- She loves necklaces and bracelets and makeup and tries to use mine frequently.
- She loves nursery more than anything and we are happy she has a place to have some “her” time where it’s her own thing. She loves our nursery leader and cuddles her at church.
- She has a chair claimed at our house and gets mad at anyone that sits in it, even visitors!
- She still loves stuffed animals.

She sounds so much like Hannah. She'll play zombies with Tyler, then turn around and want her bracelets and purse! Happy second birthday!
and she is breathtaking! Oh that hair. I love the I'm a boy comment. So funny. River is obsessed with all the differences between girls and boys right now.
