Oh this kid! He has my heart. He wins hands-down for being our happiest most giggly baby. Our other kids were more pensive and really didn’t care if you danced around and made a fool of yourself. But this guy! He laughs, like hysterically even if you say “goo-goo ga-ga” to him (which E & G do all the time). Thank you Henry for making me smile every day, even when life is crazy.
Here are his 4 month stats: 14 lbs 9 oz (41 %), 25.75 inches long (78%), 41.9 cm head circumference (39%). By far our biggest baby!! (see E & G stats: Genevieve: 11 lbs, 4 oz (10th %), 25 inches tall (80th%), 40.1 cm head circumference // Emerson: 11 lbs, 6 oz; 25.5 inches tall, 42.2 cm head circumference)
I think he’s chunky though he’s still pretty skinny compared to most of my friend’s babies.
Some notes about Henry at this age: He smiles at any and everyone, he loves to dance, he moves so so much (so active just like E was!), has been rolling from tummy to back for about a month now but just rolled from back to tummy for the first time yesterday, already scooting across rooms, sleeps from about 8pm-7am with one or two feedings in the night (always a dream feed but sometimes one more too), loves to be tossed in the air, bounced around and anything with movement. Also he drools. A LOT.
I was just looking back on my notes about Vieve at 4 months and I wrote how she hated moving, hated be startled, and really hated being thrown in the air! Oh man our little girl is really just not as adventurous as our boys.
Emerson loves him. He plays with him so much, it eases my mom guilt about not getting to hold Henry enough.
Could cuddle this babe all day. Also don’t mind my 8th grade-esque frosty eye shadow. I accidentally put the wrong color on when it was early at the gym and well I didn’t even notice until that evening. Mom brain.
