Jylare & Murphy Married!

I took off work Friday and headed to California with my good friends from London Study Abroad for Jylare's wedding to Murphy this weekend--a trip we'd been waiting for all summer! We had an amazing time catching up, helping her mom with all the preparations, and of course attending the beautiful wedding. I love Jare because she was the most laid back bride I've ever met--she didn't stress about anything and we even got to pick out our own bridesmaids dresses... it was one of the best weekends I can remember.

Highlights included:
-Meg and Char coming (!) in from Boston and Shanghai
-Churros
-The "Johnson-Smith" wedding, most likely the common last names to ever be wedded
-Jare's amazing mother Jynene and the dress she made, the luncheon she put on, and the reception she put together
-Eating El Pollo Loco for the first time
-The most adorable Johnson nieces and nephews
-The heat hole
-Murph's amazing singing solo of Michael Buble's "Everything" to Jare at the luncheon
-Flying w/Jame and overcoming Delta's terrible customer service! (and landing techniques)
-Gourmet monogrammed cupcakes
