Must Haves for Week 13 ...

For covering myself and staying comfortable through this awkward phase of gaining baby weight but not quite "showing" yet, I've had to stick with some specific clothing. One interesting thing I've noticed is that having any pressure on your stomach (from pants, skirts, etc.) makes you feel so much more sick. I've realized that loose and baggy is definitely more comfortable on my body and for my nausea. Here are some of my recent favorites:

Flowing summer dresses (I really think these kept me from having to tell my company sooner ;)

Hoodies!

Skinny Belts (for adding emphasis to the higher area of your waist... and not the growing belly!)

And Preggie Pop Drops!
My sis sent me these delicious pops that really help with the morning sickness. All of the flavors (sour lemon, sour apple, sour rasp.) are delicious!

ok, congrats!! somehow i missed that previous post so i didn't even know you were pregnant! yay! and all these styles are darling... and the "flowing" look makes it nice because not everything you buy has to be a "maternity" label. too cute! have fun and i'm glad you are starting to feel better...that nausea will drive you crazy!

Congratulations on the little one!!! We are so happy for you guys! Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy, it sure is fun having that little one grow inside you, minus the parts that make you uncomfortable, sick and tired!

Hoodies have been my best friends too! I'm so glad that flowy tops and dresses are in style right now...keeps me from having to wear maternity stuff yet :) Jolly Ranchers have been a lifesaver as well, I have a huge bag in my purse!

so jealous you have that white dress from down east! saw it and loved it but i bought last season's white dress from there, so i really can't justify two similar white dresses.

i never used the prego pops last time, but it's nice to know they actually work for next time around!

i bet you look fab! we want belly shots!!! :)

Mmmm...organic Preggie Pops. I am glad that they are 'drug free' because most of the suckers in my house have drugs in them:).

It's all about being comfy. You llok great by the way. i know you feel huge but you don't look it. The preggie pops crack me up!

Just wait until you are so huge you can hardly move. Then all you will want to wear is your robe, or better yet, your birthday suit. Get some good pairs of gauchos- though they are funny looking, you will ADORE the stretchy waist.

and may or may not have bought it the day i frantically ran into anthro parked illegally and scared your husband.

i'm glad i do. CONGRATULATIONS!
