Trip w/the Girls

After visiting California for Labor Day weekend I was sad to see some of my best friends for only 1 hour for a lunch. Mitch had been wanting to send me on a trip to see my girlfriends, so we decided it would be a great idea to make another quick trip back to California to have some more QT last weekend. Emerson and I had so much fun with the girlslaughing, and chatting, reminiscing about college, shopping, eating, watching the RS Broadcast, hanging out at the beach, celebrating Scarlett’s 1st bday, going on walks, and soaking up the (hot) California sun. California trips make me excited but also cringe because every time we go we have to miss seeing some of our friends. I simply don’t understand how all of our closest friends from college live there. All of them!

Check out both the babies in the single stroller! Who needs a double stroller anyways?IMG_4339

I think Scarlett didn’t know what to do with all the cake. Emerson looked confused watching her too.IMG_1707_1

This post is a little late, due to my lack of being on top of anything for the past couple of weeks. Traveling with a baby sure makes me tired—just lugging around all of Emerson’s diapers, toys, food, wipes, bottles, books, etc. is exhausting. I’ve designated October as a month to slow down, and enjoy the Fall weather. More to come soon on Emerson and conference + visitors.

What a fun weekend!! I'm glad you got to soak in some rays with Jame and E on the beach. Cute pictures. I love your outfit in the last picture, by the way. So stunning! You girls are gorgeous as always. Thanks for giving me a call last week!! I will probably be ringing you tomorrow... :)
