Emerson is 1 today!
We kept him alive for 1 year! Seriously. We should be celebrating that today. Even though we had no clue what we were doing, we figured it out so far (at least enough to keep him in one piece).
1 year ago I was delivering this babe into the world. I must say babies are much better on the outside than in. I made Emerson a bday shirt using his old t-shirt (perks of a skinny kid—still fits into his 6-9 month clothes) and sewed a 1 onto it. Here are some birthday pics of our little man; he loved the balloons and kept trying to bite them.
So much has happened for this guy in the past week—we had a party for him and he started walking! We were excited at first and then a little scared. He’s been teetering and toddling around our house so much. More to come soon on his party and what else he’s been up to at 12 months. Happy day little guy.

Happy Birthday to E! I really can't believe he is one. The walking is so fun to see them learn but it also means these little guys step up their trouble making skills a lot! Have so much fun!
