After coming home to blizzards and rain storms, I am happy to announce today was 65 degrees in Salt Lake. Hallelujah! You never know how much you need nice weather to stay sane until you have a child who spends rainy days standing with his head against the window, looking longingly outside.
We spent almost 3 hours at the park with Emerson’s little friends today. We played on the playground, chased and fed ducks at the river, and ran around the grass. This also means I got to see my friends and chat (when I wasn’t chasing E around and keeping him from killing himself on the playground). We have some friends coming into town over the next couple weeks and are glad they can see this kind of Utah and not the ugly inversion kind.
For everyone who lives in sunny places year-round, I must say after having a child I am really jealous of your weather. I’m trying to enjoy it here before the next storm comes in.
On the plus side, the mountains do look gorgeous covered in snow.

I love spring in UT...warm(ish) weather, but the snow still on the mountains...SO pretty. Tell that nice weather to stay put for a couple weeks!
